Hi, I’m 9 years old and my sister has Autism Spectrum Disorder (we think). It’s really hard at Christmas and at Birthdays because she gets angry and upset that people get things that she likes. We got some craft stuff for Christmas which was fine, until she took EVERYTHING out of the box and I had to tidy it ALL up. My mum and dad are in the same situation, and we Googled some famous people in the same situation as my sister, but I have no-one to relate to.
It’s annoying. I’m 11. My brother always gets angry at least one time on Christmas or birthdays. I feel embarrassed. Especially when it’s one of my friends birthday’s🙄

Greetings, I’m 14 and my sister has epilepsy, i understand what you are going through when you have to clean up messes they make, and when they cause a scene in public…its really hard..its like you are pushed off to the side. its really hard. i try to distract myself from getting upset. like, : reading, writing, drawing ect. it helps

Hi I understand about when your siblings(in public) get angry and shout and get angry.I sometimes get embarrassed and pretend I don’t know her like she is a stranger.
