A new law has been made that keeps your personal information safe, it’s called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We collect some personal information from you and it’s our job to tell you how we will collect the information, how we will record it and how we will use it.

The only personal information we will collect from you is an email address.

- send you an email when someones posts a message on the forum
- reset your password on our chat forum
- send you email replies when you have asked us to answer a question for you.

We don’t keep your information forever. We only keep it for as long as we need it to help us do the thing we needed it for.
We have a policy that tells us when to keep it and when to bin it.
How we keep your information safe
We limit who can look at your information at YoungSibs, depending on to the type of information we hold and where we hold it. All personal information is looked after by staff in the UK

The YoungSibs website may include links to other sites that Sibs doesn’t own or manage. We do our best to make sure these links are safe but we can’t control how the other websites collect information or what they do with it.
Controlling your personal information
